Inadequate training and lax protocols among the surgical team have resulted in adverse outcomes such as postoperative complications, medical errors, and decreased patient satisfaction (Purba et al., 2020). These issues underscore the imperative of standardizing surgical procedures and enhancing preoperative care, teamwork, communication, and infection control measures. Our plan, grounded in the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) framework, prioritizes comprehensive learning and simulation-based education to mitigate surgical risks and improve patient outcomes.

Organizational Functions, Processes, and Behaviors Affecting Quality and Safety

Communication gaps, lax hygiene protocols, and inadequate accountability among healthcare professionals undermine organizational quality and safety.
