Purpose
The primary aim of this assignment is to identify, analyze, and compare performance measurement data for prevalent health conditions across hospitals within your local region. Using the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) platform, specifically the Hospital Compare section, you will examine publicly available data for hospitals within a 50-mile radius of your community or the location where you completed prelicensure clinical experiences.
This analysis will highlight quality-of-care differences between facilities and identify opportunities for improvement in performance measurement indicators. The findings will be presented in a PowerPoint slideshow.
